Advocate for robust funding and resources for emergency shelters

Contact your elected officials to request Opioid Settlement funds and Cannabis taxes be used to support block grant funding for emergency shelters. Advocate for block grants to supplement the current OTDA reimbursement model, which only pays contracted shelters for guests who are eligible for and receiving temporary assistance.

Join us for walking street outreach

Conduct street outreach with HAC members to better understand the barriers and needs of those experiencing homelessness. Contact Andy Carey (mccollaborative1@gmail.com) if you plan to join us.
